From October 3 to 5, the 12th Tubotech – International Trade Fair for Tubes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components and the 6th wire South America – International Wire and Cable Trade Fair will take place at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, in São Paulo (SP).

Organized and promoted by Fiera Milano Brasil, the trade shows will bring new features, such as Tubotech's new Laser and Welding areas, with the participation of national and international manufacturers, as well as equipment suppliers and manufacturing service providers in the respective segments.

For wire South America, more than 100 exhibiting brands are expected.

According to Maurício Duval Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, “the return of Tubotech and wire South America after the pandemic comes at a great time, due to their great importance in generating business, networking among professionals and market experts, in addition to providing an environment for updating and contact with the latest in terms of technology, management, and service provision.”.

Paulo Castelo Branco, CEO of ABIMEI – Brazilian Association of Importers of Industrial Machines and Equipment, notes there is an excellent expectation among market professionals. “End customers are eager to learn about the new technologies available in the global market and are realizing the need to invest in new machinery and equipment to increase the productivity and competitiveness of their industries.”.

Also according to Castelo Branco, the Brazilian market is showing interest in investing in new machinery and equipment, “even with the current government policy still undefined in several aspects,” he adds.

Tubotech

Tubotech will bring together manufacturers, distributors, and service providers in the fields of pipes, valves, pumps and motor pumps, fittings, machinery and equipment, in addition to a series of other components and accessories.

The event will also feature high technology, innovations, and the latest trends and solutions for a highly qualified audience, consisting of professionals from the oil, gas, automotive, civil construction, furniture, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, beverage, infrastructure, and mining sectors, among others.

In the new Laser and Welding areas, which will be featured at the fair for the first time, the public will have access to technologies that use lasers to perform marking, engraving, cutting, welding, and cleaning services, in addition to welding operations.

For the second consecutive year, Tubotech will still have, in partnership with ABIMEI, the Tubotech-Techmei Congress – International Congress of Technologies in Industrial Machinery, Equipment, Pipes, and Fittings.

The goal is to stimulate the advancement and competitiveness of Brazilian industry on the global stage through the dissemination of knowledge of the best practices and equipment used in various countries.

Among the main themes of the Congress, the following stand out:
